HTC has officially introduced their latest Android smartphone ‘Desire 500′ in Taiwan. Specs-wise, the handset sports a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor, a 1GB RAM, a 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, optional dual SIM capabilities, dual cameras (1.6MP BSI front & 8MP BSI rear), HSDPA, NFC, a 1800mAh battery and runs on Android Jelly Bean OS with Sense 5 UI. The Desire 500 will go on sale in Taiwan from August 1st for 11,900 TWD (about $399) via Taiwan Mobile.
